Reined Cow-horse

Over the past few years Tom has become very passionate about all things cowhorse, especially the Snaffle Bit Futurity. Tom has been blessed to have trained and entered multiple prospects.

Cutting

Allison has recently achieved her dream of stepping into the cutting pen. She has been successful in preparing these horses to show, as well as selling and marketing in that industry.

Colt Starting

There is no getting around the rumors, they are true. Tom Barker is truly one of the best two year old starters out there. It is amazing to watch what he has done with these colts.

Sorting

Allison and Tom were soon recognized for their achievements in the sorting pen on horses they trained. This is where Barker Performance Horses began, and they have continued to grow with new opportunities arising.

Barrels

Allison is very passionate about this sport. She dedicates time to pattern, haul, and run these horses. Because of this she has placed them into show homes, and a few of them have gone onto 1-D careers. She even puts a cowhorse handle on them, something she takes very seriously.
