Feeding Program

Performance horses use a lot of energy and need a feeding program that can keep up with that. Here at Barker Performance Horses, we take this very seriously. Our feed program is actually quite simple, a good 12/8 pellet, free choice alfalfa and purina outlast. we will give any and all addition supplements your horse needs as well.

Each horse that comes in is evaluated and placed on a feed program specifically for them. Horses continue to be evaluated during their training, and adjustments are made as necessary. These two horses are great examples of how effective our feeding program is. Each of these horses arrived at our facility for a 90 day colt starting. These horses made such incredible improvements and left as different horses.
